Played a key role in National SSAGO, including the 2007 Steering Group, and Manchester SSAGO. Helped support local Scouting, including the relaunch of Network and DofE.
He played a key role as Treasurer of the 2007 Steering Group. This included dealing with merchandise, sourcing funding and setting out the bank account. Outside of this Will played a major role in ManSSAGO. From Fresher's rep to secretary and in his third year he became Chair.
He put together information packs for the different committee roles which helped ease the transition period at handover. He was extremely organised and took up the position of treasurer when the member had to become absent due to a trip to Finland.
Outside of SSAGO Will was a club leader at Chorlton. He was invited to attend meetings regarding the relaunch of Network in the region.
He also was part of setting up DofE in the area. Will was highly regarded and active in the district level, helping to organise activities such as wide games. Hard working and committee he wanted to bring everyone the opportunities to complete for what is on offer.
